What a healthcare marketing agency should do
Healthcare marketing is different from most niches. Patients are cautious, the stakes are high, and platforms and regulators limit what you can say and which data you can use. A good healthcare marketing agency does not start with bold promises. It starts with what is allowed in your market, then builds clear ads that help people find the right service and book a visit.
Our focus is booked appointments, not clicks. We look at the whole path: the query, the ad, the page, the call or form, and how your front desk handles the lead.
Channels for clinics and medical practices
Google Ads
Strong for urgent needs: people already search for a specific service in their city.
Meta Ads
Works for aesthetic services and for answering questions about a clinic, with carefully checked wording.
SEO
Builds a steady flow from search for service and location pages.
Call tracking
Shows which campaigns bring calls and booked visits.
What changes by market
Rules depend on the country and the service, so we check them before launch. Here are the main things we plan around.
USA
HIPAA affects how patient data is handled. Tracking on patient portals and logged-in pages needs special care, so tracking setup should be reviewed with your compliance team.
UK
CAP rules require objective evidence for efficacy claims. Testimonials need proof that they are genuine and cannot carry unsupported medical claims.
EU
Under GDPR, health data is a special category. Consent and data flows must be planned before tracking starts.
Ukraine
Article 21 of the Law on Advertising bans guaranteed effects, testimonials and the participation of doctors in ads.
Platform limits we work with
- Google Ads. Personalized ads, including remarketing, cannot be based on health conditions and many treatments. Some categories, such as telemedicine and online pharmacies, need certification.
- Meta Ads. Since 2025, health and wellness advertisers may face limits on lower-funnel events and custom data. This affects conversion optimization, retargeting and lookalikes, so we plan measurement around it.
In practice this means a stronger focus on search intent, clear service pages, lead forms and call tracking instead of relying on retargeting.
How we launch
- Service audit
- Rules check
- Tracking plan
- Ad copy review
- Launch
- Lead control
We check which services can be advertised, prepare copy for moderation and agree the final materials with your compliance contact or lawyer. After launch, we track calls and forms and look at how quickly the front desk replies, because that directly affects bookings.
What our experience shows
This result comes from a clinic project in Ukraine. Every market has its own rules and prices, so we build a separate plan for each clinic rather than copying a setup.
What to check before launch
- Are efficacy claims supported by evidence?
- Do testimonials and images meet local rules?
- Which data reaches ad platforms, and is it allowed?
- Is the service page clear and fast on mobile?
- How quickly does the front desk reply to leads?
